Blue Origin pins the New Glenn blast on an oxygen valve
The failure investigation has moved from a broad engine anomaly to a specific piece of hardware. Blue Origin says inspections, recovered debris and hot-fire work traced the explosion to a valve on the first stage; the accident destroyed the rocket and severely damaged Launch Complex 36.
